Manufacturing New Model Quality Project Leader
Position Core Role:
The MQPL (Manufacturing Quality Project Leader) will serve as the primary leader of assigned new model quality maturation activity for models manufactured by HMIN. This position requires extensive coordination and correlation between manufacturing division departments, The New Model Department, the Quality Division as well as external stakeholders and product designers to insure achievement of product specification and final customer expectations.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Lead CBU Hinjuku complex problem resolution team meetings through mass production timing (MP start 4 weeks).
Serve as the overall problem management system leader.
Ensure linkage between the business teams and NM development.
Summarize in house quality activity with total project targets and activity.
Guarantee project quality target achievement by insuring that sufficient Manufacturing division strategy and activity is developed and executed for all stages of model development from design through mass production.
Support, set direction, and represent P-zone in conjunction with PPL and Quality Leader direction to Manufacturing Division Departments.
Assure and facilitate sufficient two-way communication with all departments related to the New Model Activities for the Specific model project. Set clear direction from the plant and project viewpoints.
Insure that all P-zone Manufacturing Division Departments adhere to and execute OQ (outstanding quality) flow guidelines. Manage OQ scorecard to facilitate achievement.
Support production departments with the development and approval of design changes and countermeasure request forms (CRF)
Daily Tasks:
Daily meeting attendance of the NM and/or Plant Quality Hinjuku
Daily Coordination with Plant Quality Leader.
Daily Coordination with assigned Model Plant Project leader.
Track Quality maturation activity. Follow up to insure application of PDCA (Plan, do, check, and act) cycle to quickly maturate top issues to resolution.
Complete check list related items related to the appropriate stage of development for assigned model.
Create report material for evaluations.
Manager PTC (Problem Tracking Chart) system to insure timely application of countermeasures and PDCA. Insure clear understanding of problem ownership (who is addressing what problem).
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Deep knowledge of New Model introduction flow and evaluation (SPEED-flow, etc.).
Deep knowledge of OQ (Outstanding quality) flow.
Deep knowledge of quality metrics and key performance indicators such as warranty, GDP (global direct pass) and TRPU (Total rejections per unit).
Working knowledge of JD Power IQS (Initial Quality Survey) structure and in-house improvement initiatives.
Strong project management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer software Acumen:
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Microsoft Project
Required Experience:
Minimum of two years of project experience involving Honda NM introductions.
Minimum of two years of quality management experience.
Education Requirements:
BS in a relevant field is a preference. High School Diploma with equivalent is a requirement.
Six Sigma certification is a preference but not a requirement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
