Production Supervisor
Core Role:
Team Manager-Is responsible for processes based on SQDSEM (safety, quality, delivery, cost, environmental, and morale).
Team Manager manages zone based on Business Plan needs.
Sets targets and drives continuous improvements activity within the zone to eliminate waste in all areas of SQDCEM.
Develops guidelines for zone control to track improvements SQDCEM.
Reports daily activity plan versus actual SQDCEM. Completes all required reports and documents.
Implement theme assignments for each Team Coordinator and confirm the progress.
Set direction for each team coordinator to manage their zone.
Team manager will facilitate and ensure compliance with all HMIN company and department policies.
Team manager will develop, implement and track associate training plans to promote development and growth.
Team manager will actively support other departments and work with suppliers to improve SQDCEM.
Team manager will conduct and complete all associate performance appraisals and assessments.
Manage up to 60 associates and up to 6 Team coordinators.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Candidate must demonstrate hands on experience and knowledge.
Demonstrate time management skills and strong knowledge of PA manufacturing operations and practices.
Daily Tasks:
Coordinate and provide leadership to assigned zone to achieve safety, quality, cost delivery, environmental and morale targets.
Maintain production schedule, communicate with other MFG departments regarding all major line stop and quality issues that may result in downtime or quality issues outside of the department.
Ensure safe work practices and processes within the zone.
Lead daily communication meetings with zone associates and Team Coordinators based on SQDCEM and previous shift performance.
Attend all required meetings as needed.
Work with Equipment service on daily downtime issues and Quality group on repetitive issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Self-motivated individual that works well with little supervision and is willing to develop others.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with good planning and organizational capabilities.
Willingness to learn.
Work in a team environment.
Work weekends as needed/scheduled.
Ability to adjust shift schedule if needed.
Required Experience:
Minimum of three years of leadership in a manufacturing or assembly type of environment.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Position Factors:
Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts (Kaizen, push/pull 5S, Error Proofing).
Motoman and or Fanuc Robotics programming experience.
Knowledge of automotive PA waterborne applications and materials.
Knowledge of OSHA PA robotics standards and Safety.
Knowledge of Robotic Programming Simulation Systems.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
