The Operations Manager is a non-union position responsible for directing and supervising the operations personnel in construction, operation and maintenance of the electrical distribution system to provide the highest level of service reliability to members while meeting budget, safety and compliance standards.

Ensure all safety practices, rules and policies are followed and current best practices are incorporated into our safety manual.
Ensures that investigations of on-the-job accidents and near misses are conducted in a timely manner.
ComplianceEnsure all federal and state regulations are met including OSHA, INDOT, NESC, RUS and NAS.
Ensure RESAP (Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program) is achieved.
OperationsManage the daily operations including reading and assigning work orders, service orders, ensuring county inspections have been completed, ensuring locates have been done and that job sites are prepared for required work.
Point of contact for crew personnel during day-to-day activities.
Point of contact for member related day-to-day request and questions for the Operations Department.
Creates annual operational budget.
Supervise and dispatch during emergencies and on call service watch crews.
Supports long-range planning for the Operations DepartmentOversees the operation and maintenance of the system including right-of-way, vehicles, and other equipment.
